Make a quick and simple meal with this Tawa Fried Chicken Platter with loads of veges on the side. This is a quick and simple everyday recipe which you can make without tandoor or oven. It is  a Tawa Fried recipe which can be made in a fry pan.

Ingredients

  1. Diced Chicken 1 Kilo
  2. Corn Cobs 4
  3. 2 Onions cut into rings
  4. few florets of Broccoli
  5. few florets of Cauliflower
  6. 1 diced carrot
  7. 100 grams green beans cut into small lengths
  8. 3 teaspoons Tandoori Powder ( if you can not get the tandoori powder then use  – 1 teaspoon of Chat Masala, 1/2 teaspoon of red chilli powder, 1/4 teaspoon of jeera powder, 1/4 teaspoon of Amchur Powder(Mango Powder))
  9. 2 Limes cut into small wedges
  10. Salt as per taste
  11. Red chilli powder 1/2 tea spoon
  12. Garlic Paste 1 tea spoon
  13. Ginger Paste 1 tablespoon
  14. Jeera Powder  1/2 teaspoon
  15. cooking oil 1 cup
  16. 1 finely chopped green chilli
  17. 2 tablespoon finely chopped green coriander for garnish

 

Preparation

As this is a quick recipe therefore we are not going to marinate it for a long time.

  1. Take the diced chicken in a mixing bowl.
  2. Add  ginger and garlic paste
  3. Add the Tandoori Powder ( or the other ingredients in lieu of that as listed in the ingredients)
  4. Add some lime juice
  5. Mix well and keep aside.
  6. Take a fry pan and put it on medium heat
  7. Add 2 tablespoons of oil
  8. Add the vegetables and stir fry them them for 5 minutes
  9. Take them out
  10. Now add 2 tablespoons of oil and add the onion rings
  11. Stir fry them till they get slightly burnt colour
  12. Take them out.
  13. Now add 4 tablespoons of oil in the fry pan.
  14. Once the oil is hot add the diced chicken
  15. Stir the chicken and cook it for 5 minutes.
  16. Now you can add some water and cover the fry pan with a cover
  17. Reduce the flame.
  18. Let the chicken cook for another 5 minutes.
  19. Remove the cover and put the flame to high
  20. Add some more tandoori powder
  21. Add some chilli powder.
  22. Add some lime juice
  23. Add salt as per taste.
  24. Keep on stirring.
  25. Ensure that the chicken has been cooked.
  26. Now cook the corn cobs by cooking them on the flame.
  27. Put the corn cobs, chicken and  stir fried veges on the plate and serve
  28. Sprinkle some chat masala, some chopped green chillies and some finely chopped coriander as garnish.
