Raw Tomato Chutney. This tastes similar to Salsa dip. It is great to have with potato chips or Corn Chips.

Ingredients

  1. 2 Tomatoes
    Anardana 1 teaspoon lightly crushed
    Red Chilli Powder 1 teaspoon
    Salt to taste
    Mint 4 leaves, chopped
    Green Chilli – finely chopped and then crushed
    Garlic 2 cloves

Preparation

  1. Finely dice the tomatoes and then crush them further.
    Add the lightly crushed anardana.
    Add the Red chilli powder
    Add the chopped mint leaves
    Add the finely chopped garlic ( if you wish you can use a paste)
    Add the crushed Green Chillies.

In this chutney, we use the raw tomatoes , unlike in most of other chutneys we normally cook the tomatoes, but in this recipe we leave the tomatoes raw, thus preserving the vitamins and enzymes.
